Hangboards are compact training tools used to develop finger strength, grip, and load control, all of which matter in sport climbing, bouldering, and more technical climbing training. This category includes both fixed-mount boards and portable hanging solutions that can be used at home, in the gym, or outdoors. When choosing a hangboard, it is worth looking at hold types, edge depth, pockets, slopers, and whether the board is meant mainly for regular strength training, warm-up, or more focused work on specific grip positions.
