EDGECRAFT.PL ONLINE STORE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document sets out the rules for using the EDGECRAFT.PL online store, operating at www.edgecraft.pl, managed by Grzegorz Andrejczyn, running as a sole proprietorship.

§1 General Information

  • The EDGECRAFT.PL online store available at www.edgecraft.pl is managed by Grzegorz Andrejczyn, ul. Adama Bochenka 12a/102, 60-693 Kraków, Poland, VAT ID: 5020049584, email: info@edgecraft.pl.
  • The store sells mountaineering and climbing equipment via the Internet.

§2 - Definitions

  • Client – a natural person, legal person, or organizational unit with legal capacity using the Store.
  • Consumer – a Client who is a natural person purchasing for purposes unrelated directly to their business or professional activity.
  • Account – a set of data assigned to a Client used for order fulfillment and data management.
  • Terms – this document.

§3 - Terms of electronic services

This paragraph defines the rules for distance sales and electronic services provided by Edgecraft via the online store edgecraft.pl.

1. Electronic services offered.

The edgecraft.pl Online Store provides information about its commercial offer on the Internet and offers the following online services:

  • Viewing product offers online
  • Purchasing products through a shopping cart
  • Registering a Client Account and adding products to the Cart
  • Newsletter subscription

2. Technical requirements:

To use the services, the following are required:

  • Device with internet access
  • Updated version of popular browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari) with enabled JavaScript and cookies
  • Minimum screen resolution: 1024 × 768 pixels

3. Cookies

The store uses cookies to:

  • maintaining the session of a logged-in user,
  • conducting viewership statistics,
  • adjusting content and offers to user preferences,
  • conducting marketing activities, including remarketing and displaying personalized ads based on the user's previous activities on the website and beyond.

4. Contract conclusion and termination:

The contract is concluded by filling and confirming the appropriate form (registration, order, review, newsletter) on the website.

The contract is indefinite and may be terminated by either party at any time without giving reasons, respecting the other's rights.

Termination of the contract:

  • Account termination: by requesting account deletion.
  • Newsletter cancellation: by requesting removal of email from subscription.
  • Deletion is done without unnecessary delay after notification.

§4 - Sales conditions

1. Prices

All product prices are in Polish Zloty (PLN) and include taxes (VAT, customs).

Prices exclude delivery costs, which are added during order processing.

Prices may vary depending on product variants (size, color, etc.) and are visible when adding to the cart.

2. Placing Orders

To conclude a sales contract, the following steps are required:

  • Place an order online using the shopping cart on the store's website.
  • Confirm awareness of the payment obligation by clicking the "Place Order" button in the final step of the cart.

After placing the order, the buyer will receive an order confirmation at the provided email address, which includes:

  • the main features of the product,
  • the total price including taxes and delivery costs.

3. Client Account

Orders can be placed without registration or after creating a Client Account.

The account allows, among other things: tracking shipments, viewing order history.

Registration is done by completing a form on the store's website. Account data can be changed or deleted at any time.

4. Invoices

Invoices are sent by default in electronic form to the email address provided when placing the order.

At the buyer's request, a paper invoice can be issued — to do so, please send a request to: info@edgecraft.pl.

The seller is not responsible for incorrect data provided by the buyer.

5. Delivery

Estimated dispatch time: 1–2 business days after payment clearance (bank transfer or online payment).

Estimated delivery time: 1–2 business days from dispatch, depending on the chosen delivery method.

6. Delivery within a timeframe essential to the buyer

If the buyer informs prior to the conclusion of the contract that delivery within a specified timeframe is crucial, and the seller is unable to fulfill it, the seller may refuse to execute the contract.

In the event of non-delivery within the agreed timeframe, the buyer has the right to immediately terminate the contract. The seller will then refund all amounts paid within 14 days.

§5 Payment Methods and Deadlines

The buyer can pay for the order in the following ways:

  • Traditional bank transfer – prepayment to the account: Grzegorz Andrejczyn mBank, account number: 88 1140 2004 0000 3602 7401 0778
  • Quick online transfer via: BLIK, Przelewy24, and PayPal

Payment deadlines:

  • Traditional bank transfer – within 96 hours from placing the order.
  • Online transfer – within 36 hours from placing the order.
  • Failure to make payment within the specified deadline may result in order cancellation.

§6 - Delivery Methods

Ordered products are delivered to the buyer via InPost Sp. z o.o. – Paczkomaty 24/7 service or courier.

Paczkomaty 24/7 (InPost Sp. z o.o.) involve delivering the parcel to a selected locker – an electronic deposit box that allows the recipient to collect the parcel after prior notification (email, SMS, or mobile app).

Pickup time for parcels from the locker: 2 days from placement. After this time, the parcel is transferred to the InPost branch, where it can be collected within the next 3 days. InPost informs the recipient about the transfer of the parcel to the branch (email, SMS, or mobile app).

Maximum dimensions of a parcel for locker delivery: 64 × 41 × 38 cm, maximum weight: 25 kg.

Delivery of products is limited to the territory of the Republic of Poland and is carried out to the address provided in the confirmed order.

§7 - Right of Withdrawal

1. Seller's Responsibility

The seller is responsible to the consumer and entrepreneur with consumer rights for the conformity of the goods with the sales contract, in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act.

The seller is liable if the sold goods do not meet the conformity requirements specified in Article 43b paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Consumer Rights Act.

The seller's responsibility lasts for 2 years from the date of delivery of the goods.

2. Reporting Non-Conformity of Goods with the Contract

The consumer or entrepreneur with consumer rights may submit a complaint in any of the following forms:

  • by sending or delivering a written statement to the seller's registered office or premises;
  • by sending an email to: info@edgecraft.pl

3. Delivery of the Complained Goods

The buyer should deliver the complained goods to the seller's registered office or hand them over to an authorized person.

The goods must meet basic hygiene requirements.

If the complaint is accepted, the seller will reimburse the delivery costs (excluding additional costs resulting from the choice of a more expensive delivery method than the standard one).

4. Buyer's Rights

In the event of non-conformity of the goods with the contract, the buyer may demand:

  • repair or replacement of the goods;
  • price reduction;
  • withdrawal from the contract (if the defect is significant or the seller fails to repair/replace the goods in a timely manner).

The reduced price is determined proportionally to the value of the non-conforming goods relative to the value of the conforming goods.

§8 - Personal Data

  1. The data controller of Clients' personal data is Grzegorz Andrejczyn.
  2. Personal data is processed solely for the purpose of order fulfillment and tax obligations.
  3. The Client has the right to access and correct their data.

§9 - Final Provisions

  1. The terms and conditions apply from the date of publication on the store's website.
  2. The seller reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions, provided that orders placed before the changes remain governed by the previous version.
